Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine Strengthens Global Presence at ACIMH 2025 in Seattle

Seattle, WA – March 3-7, 2025 – Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine proudly participated in the prestigious Academic Consortium of Integrative Medicine and Health (ACIMH) Congress held at The Westin Seattle. As the sole Korean medical institution represented at the event, Jaseng contributed significantly to the conference's global dialogue on integrative medicine. The conference attracted 678 participants from 29 countries, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange across diverse medical disciplines.
Jaseng Hospital actively engaged conference attendees by operating a dedicated booth that showcased the institution's innovative treatments, comprehensive medical training program, and official peer-reviewed journal, Perspectives on Integrative Medicine. The booth attracted considerable interest, further enhancing awareness of Jaseng's expertise in integrative healthcare.
Jaseng's team members, Dr. Ye-Seul Jennifer Lee and Mr. Andrew Jang, delivered insightful oral presentations on critical topics in integrative medicine. Dr. Lee presented on the safety and efficacy of acupuncture for symptom management of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) patients, while Mr. Jang highlighted acupuncture's effectiveness in managing anxiety. Both presentations were well-received, underscoring Jaseng's commitment to evidence-based Korean medicine practices.
In addition to these impactful presentations, Jaseng researchers Dr. Young Suk Yoon and Dr. Nakyoung Lee contributed poster presentations, further showcasing the institution's dedication to advancing integrative medicine research.
A major highlight of the visit was Jaseng's successful signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with Virginia University of Integrative Medicine and Southern Cross University. These agreements mark the beginning of collaborative initiatives in education and research, fostering cross-institutional growth and innovation. Furthermore, discussions are underway to establish potential partnerships with UCLA East-West Medicine, City of Hope, and Georgetown University, further expanding Jaseng's global network in integrative medicine.
